Drinking, Feasting, and Rejoicing (Deut 16:9-22). What does the Bible say about drinking alcohol? Religionists would be surprised to find out that alcohol, wine and even "strong drink" was consumed during the Feasts of Pentecost and Tabernacles by God's people. God very much approved of it. Of course in moderation. God wanted the people to relax, celebrate, and have a good time on these feasts days. They were days to celebrate their freedom and the blessings God had given them.
